video tutorials page
TubeWiz basics:
- TubeWiz is a video finisher and uploader. It takes video clips and polishes them up so they shine!
You can then save them and publish them to YouTube if you want to. It doesn't alter or damage the
original clip in any way.
- TubeWiz is simple to use. It's not a full-on, industrial-strength video editor,
but it doesn't cost mega-bucks either.
- TubeWiz understands a huge range of video types, from mobile phones to broadcast.
It works right up to HD-TV formats automatically, and even bigger, such as whole-screen
video captures for training films.
- TubeWiz is easy! You don't need the ship's computer from Star Trek to run it, and
there's loads of help, including tips and extras (for example, how to tag videos for YouTube).
It's only one click away, and you don't need to be on-line to use it.
- TubeWiz is small and fast. Download it in seconds, install it in seconds,
and start uploading classy videos in a few minutes more.
- TubeWiz is FREE to download: Try all the software's features, and,
if you decide you like it, you can register to unlock the stuff we've limited in the
trial version (registered-only features are shown in dark blue below). Registration gives you free updates,
discounted upgrades (when a major release comes out), and access to the TubeWiz
forum where you can ask questions, share ideas, etc.
Stuff TubeWiz does:
- Titles, in a wide range of styles, colors and animations. Fonts are
limited only by those on your computer. Use full-screen or smaller graphics such
as corporate logos, which you can import and re-size as required. Preview your
choices and change or delete them if you don't like them. Check it out...
- Captions: add text captions in the middle of videos, in a range of styles, with
coloured or transparent backgrounds.
- Credits: use a wide range of possible styles, including vertical and horizontal
'crawls' over still-frames of picture or coloured backgrounds, fade into and out
of credits using a range of styles, and use logos and other pictures as needed. Check it out...
- Subtitling: Add subtitles for language translation etc. Prepare subtitles and
import from XML as required. Use different colours to represent different
actors, etc. in dialog.
- Branding: Add your permanent logo (digital-on-screen graphic or DOG) to a corner
of the screen. Great for corporate presentations or blogging.
- Anti-shake: Reduce or remove camera movement artefacts from the picture, by
selecting an object that should be steady and have TubeWiz track it
automatically. The results vary with the quality of the source material, but can
be stunning!
- Picture shape: adjust for pictures in the wrong shape ('aspect ratio').
One-click, what-you-see-is-what-you-get correction, means you can get your
picture just the way you need it, easily. This is usually used in conjunction
with...
- Rotating: Turn videos round, so that they're the correct way up. Use this with
the Picture Shape correction. It's ideal for video hurredly grabbed on camera
phones, which often get used upside down by mistake!
- Slideshows: Turn a set of still images into a video slideshow. Images can be
different formats (they don't all have to be the same type), and you can
scale-down big images if you need to. See how easy slideshows are...
- Audio: Import a new audio file, mute the soundtrack altogether or export an
audio track to MP3 or WAV formats for use elsewhere.
- DFace: object blurring and tracking technology that lets you hide faces,
licence plates, and other recognisable objects such as signs and door
numbers. Blurs can be adjusted to track object movement on-screen, changing size
and shape as necessary, and several objects can be blurred at once. DFace will
also do an everything-but blur (you set the only area you want to be clear), and
cover objects with still images you supply, for example putting one face on top
of another.
- YouTube upload: TubeWiz talks directly to YouTube's
servers, so upload is fast, secure and reliable. You can continue working while it's
happening, and you don't need a web browser to be open at the same time. Watch it being done...
- Output format choice: Tubewiz will save as MKV also as FLV (Flash) or AVI
(Windows video) formats, giving you enormous flexibility. TubeWiz video can go
straight onto other web sites, or can be used by video editors and all sots of
other possibilities.
- TubeWiz Styles are templates you can make (or use ready-made), that instantly
set up things like colors, fonts and animation styles. It's a great way to save
and re-use a "look" for your videos. If you're a blogger or a corporate
user, you can set up your style, and be sure it's the same every time.
Registering TubeWiz removes the TubeWiz
on-screen logo from saved and uploaded videos..
