TubeWiz 1.0.3 release
TubeWiz v1.0.3.6 was released today. Home and commercial video makers can now finish clips
to near-professional standards, using a very easy interface. There is no need
to learn a complex editing system.
Upload to YouTube is built-in, with connectivity to other
video sharing services to follow in later releases.
TubeWiz is believed to be the first product to use YouTube's new API,
giving secure and reliable uploads directly into the YouTube system.
TubeWiz is suitable even for novice users, yet capable of a variety
of unusual tasks:
-
Picture rotation and shape correction: very good for
fixing clips grabbed with a camera phone, which may be in the wrong
orientation or even upside down. Widescreen video can be instantly adjusted to 4:3
for the Web.
-
Anti-shake: when image steadiness is crucial, TubeWiz
automatically tracks objects that should be stationary, and adjusts the
picture accordingly.
-
DFace image blurring: protects privacy. If people are
filmed accidentally, TubeWIz can blur and follow moving areas such as faces or license plates,
or hide everything except the wanted parts of the frame.
- Branding and subtitling: ideal for video blogging or commercial use, TubeWiz has special provision for embedding
logos and URLs quickly and easily, and for subtitling either into or from foreign languages.
Users can also make titles, captions
and "roller" credits quickly and easily, and save styles as templates for
easy access later.
TubeWiz will appeal especially to video bloggers, who want to publish branded blog entries
as easily as possible, but don't want the fuss and expense of full-on video editing software.
Other expected users include realtors ("estate agents" in the UK), and all
commercial-but-non-professional videographers, who want to tidy-up and impose
corporate style on locally produced material.
TubeWiz director, Simon Muir said,
"We're delighted to be able to offer something different to the rapidly-growing video sharing market.
For everyone who just wants to finish video tidily and share it, or to put a brand stamp
on commercial work, TubeWiz is just the thing.
"TubeWiz is
very easy to use and easy on the pocket. Over time it should become
a standard tool in everyone's video toolbox."
